FARM BREAKFAST PANCAKE DIRECTIONS
Pancake Mix*

*Fluff mix with a fork before measuring. Do not pack.
Lightly grease and preheat a griddle or frying pan to 375°F (medium heat).
Place water in a bowl; add mix. Using a wire whisk, stir until blended. (Batter will be slightly lumpy.) For thicker pancakes, decrease water to 2/3 cup for each cup of mix used and allow the batter to thicken for 5 minutes.
Pour ¼ cup batter for each 5-inch pancake onto preheated griddle or pan.
Cook until small bubbles cover the entire surface or 1-1¼ minutes on each side until golden brown. Turn only once. Serve hot with butter and your favorite pancake topping.

Preheat waffle iron.
Place water and oil in a bowl; add mix. Using a wire whisk, stir until blended.
Allow batter to thicken for 5 minutes.
Pour 1 cup batter (1/4 cup for each 4-inch grid) onto the preheated waffle iron.
Cook waffles following manufacturer’s directions or until steaming stops. Serve hot with butter and your favorite waffle topping.
SNOQUALMIE FALLS LODGE OATMEAL

Bring water and salt to boil.
Slowly stir in oats.
Reduce heat to medium and continue to cook uncovered for 8-10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Remove from heat. Cover and let stand 3-5 minutes. Serve the lodge way with brown sugar, butter and cream or milk.
Microwave Directions (single serving): Place ¾ cup water, a dash of salt (optional), and ½ cup oats in a microwave-safe bowl. Heat on HIGH for 3 minutes; stir. Let stand for about 3 minutes.
